Today was a lot of fun for everyone! Well, David spent two hours at the tax office after our translator told him what to do and left....that part wasn't fun. But after that....fun!!! We had lunch with the girls and then commenced to shoe shopping at Provost Bazaar. Highly inefficient way to shop...but, it works! If it were our method in the U.S., I would not be much of a shopper! Vita and Galya eventually found shoes and Yana found a pair of shorts she liked. With our mission complete....it was off to the beach!! WOOHOO!!! The boys really liked it...the water was COLD, and I did not get in other than my feet! The girls are all like fish from living by the Black Sea their entire lives. I felt quite overdressed for the occasion in a black one piece. One piece was acceptable for women....as long as it was the bottom piece!! Tops optional here, and there were some two pieces that women wore that it was hard to see the bottom piece for two reasons: it was a thong or the "muffin top" on the women hid their bathing suit bottoms!! It was fun and I am glad we saw the beach. We had dinner at a restaurant overlooking the sea.....overpriced, poor food, poor quality, good company and good view! From there we visited Galya's aunt and uncle where the kids gorged on sweets. We were also entertained by Galya's uncle, Yuri, with some magic as he is a professional magician. The kids all loved it and created quite a memory for all of us.
Tomorrow is the big day!!
