It's More Fun to Blog When Things are Good

OK...so our translator has plans next week, that don't include working on our adoption. However, she found someone to help....for $1000. Hmmm....didn't we already pay for someone to help us with our adoption?? Wasn't aware that it included paid vacations.

Still working on getting the apartment situations taken care of....that is our brick wall keeping us from getting the passports. I think that we need to get the apartments taken care of to get the girls signed out to get the passports to get the physicals to get the visas to get them the hell out of Ukraine. David, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on the chain of events leading up to the homecoming. A miracle would get them home next weekend.....I'm just hoping they are home to start school August 20th. On the bright side, things seem more promising than what another family is going through with property issues there now.

Good news....David has physical and legal custody of our girls. Unfortunately, he may need to become an expat and get Ukrainian citizenship so he can live there with the girls since they can't seem to escape, lol!! Vita's stuff is actually all cleared up and could be home in a few business days. But...David needs her to be his translator!

Is that a light at the end of the tunnel??? Oh, it's just a train.......

Interesting how that vacation thing works. Like you said, didn't you already pay for someone to translate for your adoption?

Hang in there!

You seem to be in good humor about being stuck in Ukraine. It is a very real, scary thought when you are actually going through it. Will we ever be home? :0

The good thing is, once it's over, it's over:)

It's easy for me to see the humor...I'm in the US with SuperWalMart!!! David is hanging in there and we hope he doesn't seek Ukrainian citizenship!!
